How to Wash Nike Trainers?
Want to keep your trainers looking box fresh? Nike doesn’t recommend washing trainers in the washing machine, but that doesn’t mean that there’s not tips and tricks for getting and keeping them clean.
The best way to clean sneakers without causing any damage is to brush them with a mind cleaning solution, taking extra care and being gentler with materials like suede and leather. Once they’re cleaned up, let them air dry. The heat from the dryer can also cause damage.
For the tougher stains, Nike recommends you pre-treat them ahead of washing your trainers by mixing 1/2 a cup of water with 1tbsp bicarbonate of soda. Rub the stain with a clean, wet toothbrush, wait up to 15 minutes and then wipe with a damp microfibre cloth or towel.
To prevent stains before they happen, check out our range of sneaker protect sprays.
